MRRC is the universal HF route in the VLSC remote radio ecosystem. Control your HF radio from phone, tablet, or computer. V6.1.18: one-click upgrade — detect, download, SHA256-verify, silently install and restart in place; plus a full support chain — one-click diagnostics bundle, AI-assisted triage and a public answers page — and a hotfix channel that ships UI / Python / DLL fixes without repackaging playback with watermark buffering, WDSP 48kHz NR2 with musical-noise AE tuning, fidelity-first TX (0dB preamp, transparent compressor), reliable ATR-1000 live power/SWR telemetry, and fixed smart tuner auto-learning — TX is detected by measured power, so front-panel / external software transmissions learn too.
New version available? The launcher tells you, fetches the installer in the background,
verifies its SHA256, then waits for one click (page button or U in the launcher
window). One UAC prompt, silent install, automatic restart — and a one-click rollback to the
previous version. Proven end-to-end on a real Windows machine.
"Something went wrong" button collects logs, state files and a redacted config into a single bundle — plus an automatic health summary (IOLoop watchdog, TX init timing, audio health, ATR freshness). Upload to the maintainer endpoint with one click, or keep it local.
Reports are triaged automatically: the bundle is digested and analysed by the project's AI under fixed evidence-first rules, and the conclusion is published as a searchable card (report id / symptom / diagnosis with evidence / what to do) on the public answers page — most problems get solved by the user without a round trip.
TX capture moved to a dedicated AudioWorklet (960 samples/20 ms frames → 48kHz Opus CBR). PTT tail-loss fixed by flushing encoder partial frames; warmup frames aligned; mic tracks properly released.
RX capture aligned to 20 ms at 48kHz (320 → 960 samples/read, 1/3 the per-frame pipeline overhead), 48kHz→16kHz decimation fixed in the TX recording path, and playback frame size aligned to 20 ms.
Ghost power/SWR readings after TX eliminated (proxy stop zeroes cache; MRRC fast-polls off PTT state, thread-safe IOLoop broadcasts). New IC-M710 AGC + RF gain (9-1) controls in the quick row.
Use MRRC for universal CAT-based HF remote control. Other radio classes map to dedicated VLSC projects.
TX ~65ms / RX ~51ms, <100ms TX↔RX switch. RX Opus 32kbps AUDIO-mode, 20ms frames, time-watermark jitter buffer; TX 48kHz/64kbps CBR — professional real-time experience.
OpenHPSDR WDSP library at 48kHz: NR2 spectral noise reduction with tunable AE (auto-equalize, suppresses "watery" musical noise), AGC (4 modes), ANF, NB — SSB-optimized.
Whisper ASR + Qwen3-TTS: speech-to-text receive, text-to-speech transmit with automatic phonetic alphabet callsign conversion.
Release ACK protocol with 3× retry + redundant audio-path fallback, 120s TOT hard limit, touch-move auto-release, visibility-change forced stop — prevents stuck transmissions.
ATR-1000: 0-200W real-time power display, SWR 1.0-9.99, smart frequency→tuner learning. V5.7 TX: 48kHz full-band, 0dB preamp, transparent compressor, flat default EQ — pure mic to radio, levels handled by rig ALC + soft-knee.
All demos connect to a live FT-710 station. Try each interface — mobile, voice, SDR, recordings.
